History Behind the Name: Chynaman

Originated from Chinaman, a term used during the period of the gold rush and railroad expansion in the United States to discriminate the Chinese immigrants/ workers. Similar to terms such as chinks, wet backs, or niggers.

So why do I use it? One. I believe derogatory terms catches the attention of our young listeners and viewers faster than anything else. Use controversy to create a positive message to our community. Turn a negative into a positive.

Second, I use it because I am Chinese, respect my culture, but yet I love and cherish the culture of others.

Food for Thoughts

So I’ve been on the grind for awhile solo and look at where I’ve gone and been. It’s weird how no one wants to put in but always ready to receive. Especially when its the good stuff. Truthfully speaking I expect no less from you because you are the same people who will be there to support me and love me when I’m on top. Don’t get me wrong. There are those who have supported me from day one and to those I will always cherish you, remember, and help you in your time of need.
